Service Changes on ART Routes Effective January 6, 2025

December 18, 2024

Starting January 6th, 2025, there will be minor adjustments to the following ART bus routes:

  • Route 45
    • Minor adjustments in times on schedules will be made to improve on time performance while there is construction along Columbia Pike.
  • Route 56
    • Minor adjustments will be made to improve on time performance. ART will also provide direct access to Virginia Square Metro Station. With these adjustments, service will be eliminated from N Quincy St. between Fairfax Dr. to Wilson Blvd.​​​​​​​​​​​​​

  1. In the southbound direction, the bus will travel from N Quincy St, LEFT on Fairfax Dr, RIGHT on N Monroe St and serve the Virginia Square Metro Station.
  2. In the northbound direction, the bus will travel from Wilson Blvd, RIGHT on N Monroe St and serve the Virginia Square Metro Station.

 We encourage all riders to review the updated schedules as they are posted in the coming weeks.
