ART and Metrobus Bus Stop Relocations at Ballston Metro Starting August 1, 2021

Starting on Sunday, August 1, 2021, ART and Metrobus service at the Ballston Metro station will be relocated due to construction for Phase 2 of the Ballston Multimodal Improvements Project.

Bus stops A, B, C and D along N Stuart Street and bus stop J on N Stafford Street will be closed during the project's second phase of construction. Bus service will be routed to the newly opened bus stops on Fairfax Drive and to temporary bus stops on the west side of N Stuart Street. See the bus stop relocation map and table below.

Construction for Phase 2 is expected to last until Fall 2022.

ART Service Being Relocated -- Starting August 1

ART 42, 51 and 52 will be relocated to Temporary Stop 1 located on N Stuart St

ART 72 (North) will be relocated to Temporary Stop 2 located on N Stuart St

ART 72 (South) will be relocated to Bus Bay G located on Fairfax Dr

ART 75 will be relocated to Bus Bay E located on Fairfax Dr

 

Metrobus Service Being Relocated -- Starting August 1

Metrobus 1A, 1B will be relocated to Bus Bay F located on Fairfax Dr

Metrobus 2A will be relocated to Temporary Stop 3 located on N Stuart St

Metrobus 10B and 22A will be relocated to Bus Bay G located on Fairfax Dr

Metrobus 23A, 23B (Crystal City) and 23T (Shirlington) will be relocated to Bus Bay H located on Fairfax Dr

Metrobus 23A, 23T (Tysons) and 38B will be relocated to Temporary Stop 2 located on N Stuart St

Metrobus 25B will be relocated to Bus Bay E located on Fairfax Dr
