Weekend Events ART Can Take You To -- Oct 18 - 20

Let ART be your ride to fun events around Arlington this weekend. ART 41, 42, 45, 51, 55, 77 and 87 all provide weekend service. Here are some events taking place and the ART routes that can take you there:

Harvesting Dreams for Our Children – Oct. 18 at Kenmore Middle School

An event geared toward APS students and their families to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Learn about resources and programs to help your children succeed. The event is offered in Spanish with English interpretation.

Getting there: Take ART 75

 

Shucktoberfest Beer and Oyster Festival – Oct. 19 at Shirlington Village

The second annual Shucktoberfest will feature 40 plus craft beer tents, food and oyster tents, local vendors and family and pet-friendly activities.

Getting there: Take ART 77 or 87

 

Ballston Quarter Fall Market – Oct. 19 & 20 at Ballston Quarter

A weekend-long sidewalk sale supporting local women owned businesses.

Getting there: Take ART 41, 42 or 51

 

Pike Park Farmers Market – Oct. 20 at Pike Park (intersection of Columbia Pike & Walter Reed Dr)

The farmers market features vendors that sell produce, meats and dairy products. The market is open from 9 am – 1 pm.

Getting there: Take ART 45
