Service AlertsART and STAR Holiday Schedule for the Christmas Holiday: On Thursday, December 25, 2025, in observance of the Christmas holiday, ART 41, 42, 45, 51, 55 and 87 will operate on Sunday schedules. All other ART routes will not operate. The ART Customer Call Center will also be closed. The STAR Call Center will be open on Wednesday, December 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. but will be closed on Christmas, December 25, 2025. All standing orders, except for dialysis, will be cancelled. Please call on or before December 24 to request a trip for December 25 and/or the day after. ART 51 Ballston - Virginia Hospital Center

ART 51 serves customers who travel between Ballston Metro station and Virginia Hospital Center. See ART 52 for additional trips between Ballston and Virginia Hospital Center along a different route. ART 51 and 52 are operated by Arlington County with support from Virginia Hospital Center.

    ART 51 operates a Sunday schedule on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.

    ART 51 operates a Saturday schedule on the following holidays: Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Indigenous Peoples' Day, Veterans Day, Day after Thanksgiving.
