Service AlertsART and STAR Holiday Schedule for Thanksgiving and the Day After: On Thursday November 27, 2025, ART 41, 42, 45, 51, 55, and 87 will operate on Sunday schedules and on Saturday Schedules Friday November 28 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. All other ART routes will not operate. The STAR Call Center will also be closed on Thursday, November 27, and all standing orders, except for dialysis, will be canceled. Possible ART Delays Starting July 16 Due to Pentagon Construction

Long-term construction work is being done at the Pentagon as part of the 395/Express Lanes project. The construction is expected to last until the end of 2018.

New traffic patterns will be in effect on South Eads Street starting Monday, July 16, which may cause significant delays for ART buses entering and exiting the Pentagon. ART rider alerts will be issued for delays on specific routes and trips.

Arlington County will work closely with the U.S. Department of Defense throughout the project to monitor conditions at and near the Pentagon.
