Transfers to and from Fairfax County, Loudoun County, DASH and OmniRide buses may require an additional fare.

Senior citizens age 65 and older, people with disabilities and customers with a Medicare card, pay a reduced fare. K-12 students receive the $1.10 student fare on ART only when paying with cash, a green iRide token or an iRide SmarTrip card. Regular fares can also be paid with a 7 Day Regional Bus Pass (loaded on SmarTrip) or a gold ART token. Children under the age of 5 ride free.
