STAR Allowing Non-Essential Trips Starting July 13

July 10, 2020

Beginning on Monday, July 13, STAR, Arlington County’s paratransit service, will allow users to book non-essential trips. This will allow STAR users to have access to more places for business and services as Arlington County and the Commonwealth continues its phased reopening.

When booking STAR trips, users must:

  • Ensure the place of business they are traveling to is open. If going to an appointment, make sure that the pickup time is early enough to get to the appointment on time.
  • Refrain from using STAR services if showing any signs of illness
  • Wear a face mask at all times during the trip

To book a trip on STAR, call the STAR Call Center at 703-228-1900. The Call Center is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
