Service AlertsART and STAR Holiday Schedule for Veterans Day: On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, ART 41, 42, 45, 51, 55, 77 and 87 will operate Saturday service. All other ART routes will not operate, and the ART Customer Call Center will be closed. The STAR Call Center will also be closed on Tuesday, November 11, and all standing orders, except for dialysis, will be canceled. Rider Capacity Restrictions Lifted on ART Buses Starting August

Starting Sunday, August 1, rider capacity restrictions will be lifted on all ART buses. Seats inside the buses will no longer be blocked off, and buses will not be limited to a certain number of passengers. Riders will still be required to wear face masks when riding all ART buses.

If you see an ART bus that has the “Bus Full” sign displayed on the front between now and August 1, please call ART Customer Service at 703-228-7433 and let them know the bus number and route that is full. Operations will look into addressing the issue for service the next day.
