Service AlertsART and STAR Holiday Schedule for the Christmas Holiday: On Thursday, December 25, 2025, in observance of the Christmas holiday, ART 41, 42, 45, 51, 55 and 87 will operate on Sunday schedules. All other ART routes will not operate. The ART Customer Call Center will also be closed. The STAR Call Center will be open on Wednesday, December 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. but will be closed on Christmas, December 25, 2025. All standing orders, except for dialysis, will be cancelled. Please call on or before December 24 to request a trip for December 25 and/or the day after. Possible ART Delays Starting July 16 Due to Pentagon Construction

Long-term construction work is being done at the Pentagon as part of the 395/Express Lanes project. The construction is expected to last until the end of 2018.

New traffic patterns will be in effect on South Eads Street starting Monday, July 16, which may cause significant delays for ART buses entering and exiting the Pentagon. ART rider alerts will be issued for delays on specific routes and trips.

Arlington County will work closely with the U.S. Department of Defense throughout the project to monitor conditions at and near the Pentagon.
