Service AlertsART and STAR Holiday Schedule for Veterans Day: Reminder, On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, ART 41, 42, 45, 51, 55, 77 and 87 will operate Saturday service. All other ART routes will not operate, and the ART Customer Call Center will be closed. The STAR Call Center will also be closed on Tuesday, November 11, and all standing orders, except for dialysis, will be canceled. New ART 56 Military Rd.-Rosslyn Metro begins July 1

A new ART route, ART 56 Military Road-Rosslyn Metro, begins July 1, 2024. This route replaces ART 53, 61 and 62 which will end service on June 30, 2024.

ART 56 provides a connection from Old Glebe Road to Rosslyn Metro via Military Road, Wilson Blvd. and Clarendon Blvd. Key stops along the route include Madison Community Center, Washington-Liberty High School, Central Library, Clarendon Metro and Court House Metro.The route operates between 6:00 am - 10:52 am and 3:00 pm to 8:22 pm Monday through Friday.
