New ART 56 Military Rd.-Rosslyn Metro begins July 1

A new ART route, ART 56 Military Road-Rosslyn Metro, begins July 1, 2024. This route replaces ART 53, 61 and 62 which will end service on June 30, 2024.

ART 56 provides a connection from Old Glebe Road to Rosslyn Metro via Military Road, Wilson Blvd. and Clarendon Blvd. Key stops along the route include Madison Community Center, Washington-Liberty High School, Central Library, Clarendon Metro and Court House Metro.The route operates between 6:00 am - 10:52 am and 3:00 pm to 8:22 pm Monday through Friday.
