Ceremony on October 24 Acknowledging National Disability Employment Awareness Month

October 18, 2018

The Arlington County Disability Advisory Commission invites and encourages you to attend a ceremony acknowledging National Disability Employment Awareness Month. The ceremony will take place in the County Board Room (third floor of 2100 Clarendon Blvd.) on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

The disability community in Arlington is large and can be powerful, and your presence at this event will help remind people of this important fact. The program will feature Judith Heumann, nationally recognized disability expert and advocate, who will help us identify opportunities for advancing an inclusive workplace here in Arlington County.

We also hope that you will encourage others to attend and participate!
