Service Alerts2025 Columbia Pike Blues Festival -ART 77 Detour: The Columbia Pike Blues Festival will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, in Arlington, Virginia, featuring live music, local vendors, and family-friendly activities. Due to street closures on S Walter Reed Drive @ Columbia Pike and also 9th St. S, ART 77 will detour. Customers traveling northbound towards Court House Metro Station can access service at S. Walter Reed Drive/6th St S. Southbound, service will be available on S. Walter Reed Dr. at Columbia Pike in the direction of Shirlington Transit Center. View all ART Alerts

ART Holiday Service for Christmas and New Year

December 12, 2022

ART will operate holiday bus service on the day after Christmas Day (Monday, December 26) and the day after New Year's Day (Monday, January 2). On both days, ART 41, 42, 45, 51, 55 and 87 will operate Sunday service. All other ART routes will not operate. ART will operate regular weekend service on December 24 and 31. See below for the Sunday schedules:

The ART Customer Call Center will be closed on December 26 and January 2.

The STAR Call Center will be closed on December 26 and January 2 and standing order rides, except for dialysis, will be canceled. Please call before each holiday to request a trip for the holiday or the day after.
