Service AlertsART and STAR Holiday Schedule for the Christmas Holiday: On Thursday, December 25, 2025, in observance of the Christmas holiday, ART 41, 42, 45, 51, 55 and 87 will operate on Sunday schedules. All other ART routes will not operate. The ART Customer Call Center will also be closed. The STAR Call Center will be open on Wednesday, December 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. but will be closed on Christmas, December 25, 2025. All standing orders, except for dialysis, will be cancelled. Please call on or before December 24 to request a trip for December 25 and/or the day after. ART 41, 45 Bus Stop Closed at S Dinwiddie & Columbia Pike Starting June 22

June 18, 2020

Starting June 22, ART buses will not serve the bus stop located at S. Dinwiddie St, Southbound at Columbia Pike (#41001) next to the Columbia Pike Plaza shopping center.  

Instead, all passengers traveling towards Ballston, Court House, Sequoia or Rosslyn will board ART buses in front of the Columbia Pike Plaza shopping center (see map).

Route 41 and 45 buses will leave from the relocated stop located in front of the shopping center 10 minutes earlier than the time shown on the schedule for the S. Dinwiddie & Columbia Pike bus stop.

A temporary ART 41 and 45 bus stop will be added across the street on eastbound Columbia Pike by the 7-Eleven, providing another option for riders.

These changes are due to construction taking place on Columbia Pike and expected to continue for approximately one month.
