Logging In to ‘Arlington STAR’

To log in to the ‘Arlington STAR,’ you must be a registered user of the STAR program. You can view the STAR rider guide here to understand how to become a registered STAR user:

If you are a registered STAR user, you can log into the ‘Arlington STAR’ application by simply using the phone number registered to your name with the STAR program. If the number is registered to your name with the STAR program, a text message or call will be sent to that number with a code to log into the application. Simply enter the code provided, and you will be logged in to ‘Arlington STAR.’

If you are unsure of the number registered to your name with ‘Arlington STAR,’ want to change your number, or want to add a new number, you can do so by calling the STAR Call Center at 703-228- 1900.

  1. Will I still be able to book STAR rides by calling the STAR Call Center?

    All riders will still be able to book and manage STAR rides using the existing STAR Call Center. Additionally, if a ride is booked with the STAR Call Center, they can view and manage that trip with the ‘Arlington STAR’ app.

  2. Will I still be able to pay for STAR rides using cash and coupons?

    Yes, all rides will still be payable using exact cash or with STAR coupons. Expanded payment options with the ‘Arlington STAR’ app will be available at a later date.

  3. How can I be notified of updates regarding my STAR trip?

    With the ‘Arlington STAR’ application, riders can receive updates to their STAR trip via app notifications, text messaging, or through a phone call.

  4. Will the ‘Arlington STAR’ application be accessible to all?

    Yes, the ‘Arlington STAR’ application has been tested to accommodate low-visibility or blind users. The application is also compatible with various commonly used screen-reading technologies.

  5. Is the ‘Arlington STAR’ application free to download and use?

    Yes, the ‘Arlington STAR’ application is free for download and use to all registered STAR users.
