Service Alerts Detour - ART 84 & ART 87: Effective immediately, long term detours will begin for ART 84 and ART 87 bus routes. This will take place to avoid the construction along 24th St S, due to underground utility construction associated with the Hotel Pentagon. These detours will run from now till Jan. 2027. Metro hopes Red Line service will be back to normal Monday morning after electrical fires

In an interview with 7News Sunday, new Metro general manager Randy Clarke apologized to riders for the way Metro communicated after electrical fires disrupted Red Line service Saturday night and Sunday.
