Many changes to bus schedules, routes beginning July 26

There are many transit route and schedule changes beginning with the opening of Metro’s Silver Line on Saturday, July 26. Fairfax Connector will eliminate 5 routes, add 16 new routes, and change 28 existing routes. Metrobus also has many service changes. Alexandria’s DASH system has many schedule changes effective July 27, and is introducing a new route July 28. While we are working hard to make sure that all changes are incorporated into the tools and information we offer, we recommend that you double-check your schedules directly with your transit provider during this period of transition.
