Ballston FacilityThe Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s (WMATA) Ballston – MU Metrorail Station (Ballston Station) is a major transit facility in Arlington, Virginia, located approximately four miles from the center of Washington, D.C. Opened in 1979, the Ballston Station is served by the Metrorail Orange line and numerous WMATA Metrobus and Arlington Transit (ART) routes, and is rapidly becoming a pedestrian and cyclist hub.
