Safety
Wait in designated areas, be aware of blind spots, and always use crosswalks when crossing after exiting. Never assume the driver sees you.
Stand behind in the safety line. Do not stand in the doorway or talk to the driver while the bus is in motion.
Strollers must be secured or folded when requested, and wheelchairs and mobility devices must be securely fastened.
Remain seated until the bus has entirely stopped. Use handrails when available.
Animals are not allowed on the bus, except service animals.
Hazardous materials (car batteries, flammable liquids) are prohibited.

Save priority seating for persons with disabilities and senior citizens.
Eating, drinking and smoking is prohibited.
Use headphones when listening to music and avoid rowdy behavior.
Keep aisles and doorways clear.
Security
Report suspicious activity to the bus operator or Arlington Police.
Do not confront threats! Call 911 if you notice something or someone suspicious at or near a bus stop or Metro station.
