Who We Are
Arlington Transit is comprised of fixed route, paratransit services, and microtransit on the way. ART is Arlington Transit’s local fixed route service that serves Arlington County, Virginia. We operate 14 bus routes that can take you to destinations all over Arlington and connect you to numerous other transit providers throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area. STAR (Link to STAR page) Specialized Transit for Arlington Residents is our paratransit option. It provides fully accessible shared ride service for people who have temporary or permanent disability and seniors for may have difficulty riding ART.

More About Us
ART is honored to serve Arlington residents, commuters, businesses, schools and visitors on our buses each day. We help the environment with buses that operate on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Battery Electric Buses (BEB). We help the region by reducing traffic congestion. And we help all passengers regardless of ability with wheelchair ramps, priority seating and fully ADA accessible service, in addition to STAR paratransit service for customers unable to ride the bus.
