Wilson Blvd. Streetscape Improvement Project Detour

Effective Sunday, September 13, 2026, several bus routes will detour from Wilson Blvd. onto Fairfax Dr., and a few ART bus stops on Wilson Blvd. between N. Monroe St. and 10th St. N. will close. These detours will be in place through the entire project, with completion expected in Fall 2028.

Bus Stops with adjusted service for the duration of the project:

• Wilson Blvd, WB @ N Randolph St, NS (regional ID 6000499): ART 42 will not serve this stop.
• Wilson Blvd, EB @ N Quincy St, FS (regional ID 6000501): ART 42 will not serve this stop.
• Wilson Blvd, WB @ N Pollard St, NS (regional ID 6000503): ART 42 will not serve this stop.
• Wilson Blvd, WB @ N Oakland St, FS (regional ID 6000519): ART 42 will not serve this stop.
• Wilson Blvd, EB @ N Oakland St, FS (regional ID 6000520): ART 42 will not serve this stop.
• Wilson Blvd, WB @ N Monroe St, FS (regional ID 6000527): ART 42 will not serve this stop.
• N Monroe St, SB @ 9th St N, FS (regional ID 6001267): Only ART 41& ART 75 will serve this stop. ART 56 will not serve this stop
• Fairfax Dr, EB @ N Quincy St, FS (regional ID 6001272): ART 42 will serve this stop with ART 56 & 75.
• N Monroe St, NB @ Fairfax Dr, NS (regional ID 6001423): Only ART 41 will serve this stop, ART 56 will not serve this stop

• Washington Blvd, EB @ 13th St N, NS (regional ID 6000590): ART 41, 42 & 56 will serve this stop; shared with WMATA. 
• Fairfax Dr, EB @ N Kansas St, NS (regional ID 6001430): ART 41, 42 & 56 will serve this stop; shared with WMATA & OmniRide. (Stop to be relocated from Fairfax Dr, EB @ N Lincoln St, NS.)
• Fairfax Dr, WB @ N Kenmore St, NS (regional ID 6001432): ART 41, 42 & 56 will serve this stop; shared with WMATA & OmniRide.
• Fairfax Dr, WB @ N Nelson St, FS (regional ID 6001437): ART 42 & 56 will serve this stop; shared with WMATA.
• Fairfax Dr, EB @ N Nelson St, NS (regional ID 6001457): ART 42, 56 & 75 will serve this stop.
