October Service Changes on ART 51 and ART 55
Effective October 4, 2026, ART 51 and ART 55 will undergo service changes.
ART 51 (Sundays): Will add a one-night trip from George Mason Dr. and Langston Blvd. This will start at 10:42 PM at Ballston-MU Metro Rail station at 10:55 PM.
ART 55 (Mon-Fri): Trips will be added to increase frequencies to every 10 minutes during the morning (5:30 AM - 9:30 AM) and afternoon (3:00 PM - 7:00 PM) peak periods. This change will help improve on-time performance and overall transit service on Langston Blvd.
