Where Can I go with MICRO?

Convenient, affordable, on-demand rides. What more could you ask for?
MICRO is your new on-demand public transit service. Simply enter your pickup and dropoff locations, meet your driver at the designated location, and we’ll get you to your destination!
MICRO now has two zones! 
Where you can ride:
- Within Your Zone: All trips must start or end inside one of the designated service zones shown on the map. Travel between zones is not available.
- To Key Transit Hubs: Use MICRO to connect between your zone and popular destinations like East Falls Church Metro, Ballston–MU Metro, and Virginia Hospital Center in Zone 1, and Pentagon City Metro, Crystal City Metro, and Long Bridge Aquatics Center in Zone 2.
- Zone 1: East Falls Church, Leeway Overlee, Rock Spring, Yorktown, Westover
- Zone 2: Aurora Highlands, Arlington View, Columbia Heights, Douglas Park, Green Valley

When Can I Ride MICRO?
Service hours
- Monday - Friday: 5:30am - 9:30pm
- Saturday: 7:00am - 9:30pm
MICRO will not run on the following federal holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas
MICRO will run adjusted service hours on Saturday schedules, for the following federal holidays:
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Presidents' Day
- Juneteenth
- Veterans Day
- Day after Thanksgiving
Service may also be affected by severe weather that causes hazardous road conditions.
How to ride MICRO?
3 easy steps to get on board in no time.
1. Create an account
Download Arlington Microtransit app from your preferred app store and follow the simple signup steps.
2. Book a ride
Enter your pickup and dropoff address. Choose the ride that works for you by tapping Book This Ride.
3. Meet your driver
Check out the app to find exactly where to meet the vehicle. It may be a short walk from where you are, but it makes the journey faster.
