ART - Arlington Transit operates within Arlington County, Virginia, supplementing Metrobus with smaller, neighborhood-friendly vehicles and providing access to Metrorail and Virginia Railway Express (VRE). Most of ART's state-of-the ART buses operate on clean-burning natural gas; all have climate control to keep you comfortable and dependable schedules to keep you on time.

ARTists for PAL Bus Design Contest

Arlington Transit is asking middle and high school students who live or attend school in Arlington County to design the outside of an ART bus using the theme "Share Our Streets - Be a PAL," Arlington County's bike, walk and driving safety initiative. The winning design will be used to wrap one ART bus that will travel around the County for everyone to see. Learn more.
