ART - Arlington Transit
ART - Arlington Transit operates within Arlington County, Virginia, supplementing Metrobus with cross-County routes as well as neighborhood connections to Metrorail. Most of ART's state-of-the ART buses operate on clean-burning natural gas; all have climate control to keep you comfortable and dependable schedules to keep you on time.

When weather impacts service, ART has three levels of service operation: Limited (Modified routes with some delays) Severe (Greatly modified routes with limited service and possible route cancellations) and No Service. ART 41, 42, 45 and 77 Schedule Changes Effective January 6, 2014
Schedule changes for ART 41, 42, 45 and 77 will go into effect on Monday, January 6, 2014. The schedule adjustments are minor and will help keep the routes running on time. Updated schedules are posted on the individual route pages. Learn more.

Metro has received a $2 million grant to improve Metro bus stops in the Metropolitan DC region and wants to learn about your opinions and preferences on how to make enhancements to Metro bus stops. There are many Metro bus stops in Arlington and several of them are shared stops with ART.
