ART - Arlington Transit
ART - Arlington Transit operates within Arlington County, Virginia, supplementing Metrobus with smaller, neighborhood-friendly vehicles and providing access to Metrorail and Virginia Railway Express (VRE). Most of ART's state-of-the ART buses operate on clean-burning natural gas; all have climate control to keep you comfortable and dependable schedules to keep you on time.
Metrobus Conducts Service Evaluation Study, Includes 23A/C, 25A/C/D
WMATA will study four Metrobus lines, including the 23A/C & 25 A/C/D. The Service Evaluation Study will review current operations and traffic conditions, consult with stakeholders, and develop recommendations and implementation strategy. Public meetings regarding Metrobus 23A/C and 25A/C/D will be held at the following locations in Arlington:

National Rural Electric Cooperative Association Thursday, Sept. 23, 7:00PM 4301 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 22203
Columbia Pike Utility Undergrounding & Streetscape Project
Project work will cause temporary closure and relocation of Metrobus Pike Ride and ART 41 bus stops.

ART Service Changes
Effective July 6, 2010:
- ART has a new route, ART 45 Columbia Pike-DHS/Sequoia-Rosslyn
- Schedules have changed for ART 42, ART 77, and ART 87
Effective June 21, 2010: ART 74 Arlington Village-Arlington View-Pentagon City service changed with the addition of a new route, ART 84 Douglas Park-Nauck-Pentagon City
