GEORGE Service to End Effective September 27

Falls Church City Council voted at its Aug. 9 meeting to discontinue the City's bus service. In the 6-1 vote, many Council members cited low ridership and the budget for eliminating the service. GEORGE riders are encouraged to take Metrobus as an alternative. The last day of service will be Friday, September 24. 2010.
