New Art on the ART Bus Exhibit Features a Hand Drawn Bazaar

February 15, 2013

The latest Art on the ART Bus exhibit is up and making its way around Arlington County! The new exhibit features artist Elizabeth Graeber's drawings and paintings that were inspired by visits to flea markets, farmers markets and fairs in the DC-area and beyond.

Graeber is a freelance illustrator originally from Baltimore, MD, and currently living and working in DC. Her current project called "Hand Drawn Bazaar" is a blog dedicated to documenting her quirky discoveries and travels. The works are made with pen, ink and watercolor. Graeber created the artwork for her ART bus exhibit at the Artisphere where people could go and see her work. View more of Graeber's work at www.elizabethgraeber.com.

See below for some pictures from the exhibit and view more pictures on ART's Facebook page.

The Art on the ART Bus exhibit is a joint effort between Arlington Transit and the Artisphere. One ART bus has been designated for the exhibit and will rotate routes so that all riders can enjoy the artwork. Remember to look up next time you board an ART bus. There might be a colorful surprise waiting for you!
