Detours on Sept. 23 for Clarendon Day and Sept. 24 for Fun Run

There will be several ART bus detours in Clarendon on Saturday, September 23, for the 2017 Annual Clarendon Day Festival and on Sunday, September 24, for the Clarendon Day 10K/5K Fun Run. Detours will affect the ART 41, 42, 43, 45, 55 and 77 routes. See below for more information about the detours on each day.

ART Detours on Saturday, September 23 

Routes Affected: 41, 42, and 77
Buses will detour between 5:00 am and 7:00 pm for the Clarendon Day Festival

Detours

Route 41 to Courthouse Station
Buses will begin detour from Wilson Blvd and Washington Blvd to N Barton and Clarendon Blvd.

  • Updated Last stop before buses begin detour: Wilson Blvd at N Veitch St.
  • First stop after buses resume regular routing: Clarendon Blvd at N Wayne Street

Route 41 to Columbia Pike and S. Dinwiddie
Buses will begin detour from Courthouse Station to resume regular service at Wilson Blvd and Washington Blvd.

  • Last stop before buses begin detour: Courthouse Station (Clarendon Blvd and N Uhle Street -CVS)
  • First stop after buses resume regular route: Wilson Blvd at 10th Street N

Route 42 to Pentagon City Station
Buses will begin detour from Wilson Blvd and Washington Blvd to Washington Blvd at N Highland Street.

  • Last stop before buses begin detour: Wilson Blvd at 10th Street N
  • First stop after buses resume regular route: Washington Blvd at 10th Street N

Route 42 to Ballston Station
Buses will begin detour from Washington Blvd at N Highland Street to Wilson Blvd and Washington Blvd.

  • First stop after buses resume regular route: Wilson Blvd at 10th Street N

Route 77 to Courthouse Station
Buses will begin detour from Washington Blvd at 10th Street N to N Barton and Clarendon Blvd.

  • First stop after buses resume regular routing: Clarendon Blvd at N Wayne Street

Route 77 to Shirlington Station
Buses will begin detour from Courthouse Station to resume regular service at Washington Blvd at 10th Street N

ART Detours on Sunday, September 24

Routes Affected: 41, 43, 45, and 55
Buses will detour between 6:30 am and 11:00 am for the Clarendon Day 10K/5K Fun Run

Normal Service to Courthouse Plaza.

Route 41 to Columbia Pike/S. Dinwiddie
Buses will detour from 15th St N and N Courthouse Rd to Wilson Blvd at N Highland Street.

  • Last stop served before buses begin detour: Courthouse Plaza (15th at N Uhle)
  • First stop served after buses resume regular route: Wilson Blvd at N Highland

Route 43 to Rosslyn and Crystal City Stations
Normal service

Route 43 to Rosslyn and Courthouse Stations
Buses will detour from Crystal Drive and 18th Street S stop, to resume regular route at Courthouse Station.

  • Last stop served before buses begin detouring: Crystal Drive at 18th Street S.
  • First stop served after buses resume regular route: Courthouse Station

Route 45 to Rosslyn Station
Normal service with last stop located at Clarendon Blvd and N Fort Myer Dr (43 Stop).

  • NOTE: Passengers will need to walk to access Metrorail service & Metrobus Route 38B at Rosslyn Station.

Route 45 to Columbia Pike and S. Dinwiddie
From Route 43 stop at Clarendon Blvd Right on N Fort Myer Drive buses will detour to regular route at N Barton and 14th Street N.

  • Last stop served before buses begin detouring: Clarendon Blvd at N Fort Myer Dr
  • First stop served after buses resume regular route: N Barton at Fairfax Dr

Route 55 to Rosslyn Station
Normal service with end of line at the D.C. Circulator Bus stop (Nearside corner of N. Moore and 19th Street).

Route 55 to East Falls Church Station
Normal service from N. Moore and 19th Street
