Service Changes Summer 2010

ART 75 Changes Effective September 27

On Monday, September 27, 2010, the ART 75 route will expand to include Virginia Square Metro to the north and Shirlington to the south.   This expansion will affect the current schedule.  Please sign up for ART Alerts or monitor the online schedule for the most up-to-date information.

Service is expected to run from 5:45 a.m. until 7:55 p.m. Monday through Friday, with stops along the way including Walter Reed Drive & Wakefield Street, Wakefield High School, Dinwiddie Street & S. 9th Street, Carlin Springs & 5th Road, Kensington Street & 4th Street, and Ballston Metro.

New ART Route Starts July 6: ART 45 Columbia Pike-DHS/Sequoia-Rosslyn

ART 45 will run every 30 minutes Monday through Friday, giving you an easy way to go green between Rosslyn, the Arlington County Department of Human Services offices at the Sequoia Plaza and Columbia Pike at Four Mile Run Drive. Stops include the Rosslyn Metro Station and several major intersections along the route.

Service Changes Effective Monday, June 21, 2010

ART 74 Arlington Village-Arlington View-Pentagon City has changed to increase ridership on each trip and sustain this service. ART 74 connects the Halstead at Walter Reed and Columbia Pike with Arlington Village, Arlington View, and Pentagon City every 30 minutes during rush hours.

A new route,  ART 84 Douglas Park-Nauck-Pentagon City, now connects the Douglas Park and Nauck neighborhoods with Pentagon City every 30 minutes during rush hours. ART 84 will also serve the Dolley Madison and Alexan apartments from the stop at 24th Street S. and S. Glebe Road.
