Urgent Service Updates
  • Proposed ART & STAR Fare Increases
ART adult fare would increase to $2.00; half-fare for seniors, people with disabilities and students would increase to $1.00. STAR fares would increase by $0.50. Fare increases would help offset increased operating expenses. Other fare changes include extending the iRide half-fare program to elementary school students, and allowing personal care attendants to ride ART free when accompanying a MetroAccess rider. Survey to Help Shape the Future of Bus Service in Arlington

June 6, 2013

Arlington Transit is conducting an online survey to get feedback from County residents and stakeholders regarding desired changes in ART and Metrobus service. The input you provide will be considered when Arlington County updates its six-year Transit Development Plan (TDP).

Please take this short online survey and let us know what you think of current bus service in the County and what improvements could be made. The survey will close on Friday, June 28.

The survey can be found at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/5VGKKBL

The TDP will guide the growth of transit and paratransit services provided by the County through ART and  STAR and by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) through Metrorail, Metrobus and MetroAccess. A draft of the update will be available for review in the fall.

Thank you for providing your feedback.
