Paper Regional Bus Passes Still Good
Use of the paper 7-Day Regional Bus Pass has been extended by WMATA until January 29, 2011. Paper bus passes will be accepted up until that date. After January 29, all 7-Day Regional Bus Passes will need to be loaded on to a SmarTrip card.
Originally the paper regional bus pass was not going to be accepted after December 31, 2010. However, due to software difficulties, Metro decided to extend the deadline to the end of January. If you experience any difficulties with using your paper bus pass between now and January 29, please contact Metro at (202) 637-1328.
The 7-Day Regional Bus Pass can be used on Metrobus and regional routes, including ART, DASH, DC Circulator, CUE, Fairfax Connector, Ride On and TheBus.
