Let ART 51 Be Your Weekend Ride!
ART 51 connects the Langston Brown, Tara-Leeway Heights and Waycroft-Woodlawn neighborhoods to the Ballston Metro. The route also provides a connection from the Ballston Metro to Virginia Hospital Center located on George Mason Dr. ART 51 runs every 30 minutes on weekends with service operating until midnight on Saturday and 10:30 pm on Sunday.
Here are some of the places you can visit and things you can do when you ride ART 51 on the weekend:
ART 51 stops at the Ballston Metro station where you can connect to the Orange and Silver Metrorail lines. While in Ballston, enjoy the many restaurants that are in the area, visit Arlington’s Central Library or check out a nearby park. You can also go to Ballston Common Mall’s shops, movie theater and ice skating rink. Learn more about Ballston.
ART 51 only travels on the portion of Lee Highway between N. Harrison Street and George Mason Dr. Along that section of Lee Highway is the Lee Harrison Shopping Center where you’ll find grocery stores, restaurants and shops. You can transfer to the ART 55 route which will take you further down Lee Highway where you will find more shops, restaurants and parks. Learn more about Lee Highway.
