Looking for a quick way to get between Crystal City and the Courthouse/Rosslyn area? You’re in luck, because ART 43 is a limited stop route that runs between those locations and weekend service was recently added to the schedule!
ART 43 has only 4 stops – The Court House Metro, Rosslyn Metro, Crystal City Metro and the Crystal City VRE station. This means that the bus stops less frequently than most routes and is able to get you to your destination faster. ART 43 is a great alternative to taking the Metrorail Blue line between Rosslyn and Crystal City, especially during Metro’s SafeTrack work.
Service runs every 20 minutes on weekends and goes until midnight on Saturday and 10 pm on Sunday.
Here are some of the places you can visit and things you can do when you ride ART 43 on the weekend:
Courthouse offers a variety of restaurants and a movie theater. Make sure to stop by Courthouse Plaza on Saturday morning to visit the farmers' market and antique market. At the Court House Metro station you can connect to the Orange and Silver Metrorail lines. Learn more about Courthouse.
ART 43 stops at the Rosslyn Metro station where you can connect to the Orange, Silver and Blue Metrorail lines. Rosslyn has restaurants, coffee shops and stores for visitors to check out. From Rosslyn it’s an easy walk or bike ride to the Iwo Jima Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery or over the Key Bridge into Georgetown. Learn more about Rosslyn.
ART 43 stops at both the Crystal City VRE station and the Crystal City Metro station where you can transfer to the Blue and Yellow Metrorail lines. Crystal City is a fascinating complex of office buildings, residential high-rises, boutiques, shops, cafes, and restaurants. Many of the buildings around the Metro station are linked not only by tree-lined streets above ground, but also by an extensive underground system of corridors and walkways, lined with shops, eateries, and services. Learn more about Crystal City.
