ART Prize Patrol
April 22, 2011 -- Riders on ART 41 got a surprise this morning when they got on the bus. On board was County Board Member Chris Zimmerman and the ART Prize Patrol handing out reusable grocery bags as a “thank you” for riding ART.

The Prize Patrol is a way for ART to thank riders and talk with them about their experiences riding the bus. Over the next several weeks the Prize Patrol will ride each of the 13 ART routes at various times of day and hand out ART bags to riders.
It was only fitting that the Prize Patrol kicked-off on Earth Day, since ART is one lean, mean, Go Green machine! Did you know that by riding ART, instead of driving, you’re helping to clear the air? ART buses run on compressed natural gas, one of the cleanest burning alternative fuels available. Making ART more environmentally friendly than most public transportation.
In addition to helping alleviate air pollution, taking the bus also helps reduce vehicle emissions and the emission of greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming. More great reasons to Go Green with ART!
If helping the environment isn't incentive enough for riding ART, then maybe a free ART bag is. Be on the lookout! You never know when or where the Prize Patrol may be next!
Follow ART on Twitter and Facebook to find out which route the Prize Patrol will be on next.
