ART 41, 43, and 87 Changes Effective July 6

On Monday, July 6, schedule changes will go into effect for ART 41, 43 and 87. More frequent service will be added to the ART 41 and 43 schedules. ART 87 is undergoing the most changes with additional service in the evenings, extended weekend service and a new route.

ART 41

More frequent evening and weekend service will be added to the schedule.

  • Weeknights and Saturday nights buses will run every 23 minutes
  • Weekends, during the day, buses will run every 15 minutes
  • Weekday service will run every 15 minutes

ART 43

Service will be extended to 10:35 am during morning rush hour and 7:47 pm during evening rush hour. Buses will run about every 10 minutes.

ART 87

  • Service will be extended until 11:41 pm on weekdays and 11:53 pm on Saturdays.
  • Sunday service will be added and run from 7:14 am - 7:11 pm.
  • On weekends, ART 87 will run to the Pentagon City Metro station instead of the Pentagon Metro.
  • The new ART 87P route will run during weekday PM rush hour between the Pentagon and S. Lang St. serving only the stops between those two points.
