Mystery Riders
The Arlington County Transit Bureau and the contractor operating and maintaining Arlington Transit (ART) buses are looking for volunteer Mystery Riders.
Mystery Riders would observe and evaluate the ART operations for safety and courtesy. Your observations will help us highlight drivers who deserve positive recognition and catch problems before they become serious.
Mystery Riders should provide a variety of perspectives. ART service is used by people with a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds as well as seniors and people with disabilities. The Mystery Rider forms do have to be completed in English.
Mystery Riders would have a training program of 2-3 hours to learn what to look for and how to note the observations. Please contact Mark Ostertag at mostertag@forsythetransportation.com or 571-217-7008 (TDD: 711) to request the necessary training.
